"Max" takes a walk (3)

This was a very short excursion into hunting, Max can't see why there is all this fuss, its just a walk after all.

"Max takes walk (2)

Max the hunter lunges after his quarrie, like his wolf ancestors did before him, it must be noted with greater success. Pauline is not too pleased she was not dressed for this unexpected diversion into hunting.

cartoon competition

These are cartoons I did for a competition. the competition was advertised in the Yorkshire Post, wine supplement, for the wine producing country of Chile, why not give it a go!, although I'm not holding my breath, it would be nice to be invited to go and pick up the winning cheque. What do you think?

The beach terrace at Le Moulin

This is an inspirational view of of Le Moulin from the lawns, I just could not resist this beautiful terrace, the travel box of water colours and pencils were soon out and ready to capture what I could see, there are so many summer colours of nature to contrast with the blue of the shutters that frame the the French windows. A picture that could grace anyone's wall.

Le Moulin de l'Argentouire - South of France

During my recent visit to the South of France we stayed at a lovely former watermill called Le Moulin.

During my stay there I couldn't stop myself getting my sketchbook out and capturing a few images while I was lazing in the gardens and by the pool.

We spent a good deal of time eating and tasting the local wine in this very quiet and picturesque alfresco eating area as captured in the sketch..
